GIN GIN MULE

Created by Audrey Saunders in 2000 at the Pegu Club in New York as a departure from the Moscow Mule, replacing vodka with gin and adding mint to ginger beer for a refreshing Gin Gin Mule!

Ingredients
 

GARNISH: cucumber slices & mint leaves

Préparation

  • Place the mint leaves, lime juice and elderflower liqueur in your shaker.
  • Use the pestle to press the lime and mint leaves to release all the flavours.
  • Fill your highball glass and shaker with ice.
  • Pour the gin into the shaker, close and shake hard for 9 seconds.
  • Double-strain the mixture into your highball.
  • Add ginger beer.
  • Garnish with 2-3 mint leaves and cucumber slices.
