Over the years, PJ Rigney has made many journeys, from his family lands to places unknown. These travels took him to the wild and unspoiled lands of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim in Ireland. It was here that his inquisitive mind, filled with the oriental traditions of distilling fruits, herbs and botanicals, began to work. He created The Shed Distillery, using medieval copper pot stills, and began his quest to merge the oriental botanicals he discovered in his travels with those of the Irish lands.
